The French Broad River Garden Club Foundation strives to promote conservation in Western North Carolina by awarding educational scholarships to deserving students studying horticulture and conservation.

• The French Broad River Garden Club Foundation donated a total of $26,800 for scholarships.

• ABTech, Brevard College, Haywood Community College, and UNC-Asheville received gifts for scholars.

• Other gifts and grants were awarded to Evergreen Charter School, RiverLink, the NC Arboretum, Asheville Greenworks, Davidson Symposium and the GCA Scholarship Fund.
